I try to make working with me as easy and transparent as possible. Once you fill out that contact form and decide I’m right for you, here’s what you can expect.

Schedule a Consultation. I’m happy to hop on a video or phone call to discuss your vision and make sure we are a good fit. Your photographer is someone who will be with you throughout your entire wedding day, so it’s super important to choose someone you can get along with! 

Choose a Package. On the “investment” page, you’ll find all the info on my pricing and packages. Each one comes with a 12” x 12” hardbound book and a shared copyright agreement so you can print the photos wherever you’d like. If you’re unsure which package to choose, that’s no big deal at all. We can always adjust later.

Sign the Contract and Pay the Retainer Fee. I require a 15% non-refundable payment and a signed contract to hold your date on my calendar. 

Schedule your Engagement Photos. An engagement session does not come included in every package but I always encourage couples to add one. Engagement photos are an excellent way to add personality to invites and wedding decor, but they are also an excellent “practice run” before the big day. They are a low-stakes way of getting comfortable in front of the camera and getting used to the way I work. 

Fill out your Pre-Wedding Questionnaire. About a month before the wedding, I will send you a questionnaire once things get a little more finalized. I like to get details about first look preferences, important family members, timeline, etc. In the meantime, all couples get my phone number immediately and I encourage you to use it! I’m happy to help, especially putting your timeline together. 

Pay Your balance. Your balance will be due one month before the wedding. There’s nothing I hate more than talking to a couple about money on their wedding day so we will get that out of the way well in advance. *Note: I’m happy to set up any kind of payment plan you like. Some people like monthly, bi-monthly, one big payment, etc. Just let me know and I’ll set it up however is best for you. 

WEDDING DAY!

I’ll Send You Sneak Peeks. I try to get sneak peeks to couples within a day or two. If I’m traveling for your wedding, it may be within the first week. I will also generally post on my social media. If you aren’t comfortable with me posting, just say the words and I won’t post. No big deal at all. 

Access Your Gallery. I do my best to deliver all galleries within 90 days. This will come with a print release so you can print wherever you like. 

Approve your Book Proof. Every wedding I shoot comes with a 12”x12” hardcover book. I will set this all up and send you a .pdf copy to review. If everything looks good I’ll get it ordered for you! If you’ve got changes, I will make adjustments until it’s perfect.
